Hey there, Preston here—welcome to our first paid edition of Pursuit PE! If you’ve been following along, we’ve looked at:

  • An Introduction to Pursuit PE (Newsletter #1)

  • Year-Round Strength & Speed (Newsletter #2)

  • Common Scheduling & Programming Roadblocks (Newsletter #3)

Today, we’re shifting our focus to In-Season Training. Why does it matter so much? Because if your athletes don’t train during the competitive season, they’re potentially losing an entire year of development over four years of high school. That’s a big deal. We’ll also talk about multi-sport scheduling and how to modify for game days!

Consistency & Mindset

In-season work isn’t just about maintaining strength for that one sport—it’s a linchpin for consistent growth across all sports your students might play. If you skip in-season training for, say, three months, that’s three months of gains left on the table. Multiply that by multiple sports or multiple years, and you can see the huge missed potential. Let’s see how to keep progress going In-Season and even on game days!

Curious how to manage in-season volumes, game-day lifts, and multi-sport scheduling? Keep reading to discover my approach—plus download the spreadsheet I use.
